“Back in 2003 a team of five families, all from the same Baptist church sold their homes in the beautiful hills of Perth, Western Australia, and moved over seventy kilometres away to a new beachside  estate.

We all moved into ‘stage 18a’, intentionally buying land within walking distance of one another, with the great hope that we would begin to think and live as missionaries rather than long term churchgoers. We wanted to completely reimagine mission and church for an increasingly secularised Australian context…”
